Brimah Kamoko aka Bukom Banku a Ghanaian boxer will on Boxing day Tuesday 26 December 2017 be the special guest as the Infinity Stars Hotel in Penyi in the Ketu North of the Volta Region hosts a lightweight contest.
The contest is expected to afford the people of the Volta Region an opportunity to watch Saviour Gad, also known as the Volta Tyson slug it out with Accra-based Daniel Timothy in a non-title contest
Volta Tyson promising to bring some honour to the region by stopping his opponent while Timothy has sent a strong warning to Volta Tyson to be ready for a tough fight that could see an end to his young career as the two boxers have stepped up their preparations ahead of the fight.
The Organizers of the contest say there will also be three under-cards on that night, featuring two young female boxers who are expected to thrill the audience.
The war of words between the two boxers has created anxiety among the people of the region who cannot wait to see if their prized boxer would live up to his words or it would be a night the fans would want to easily forget.
Speaking to Mr. John Kwakuvi Hounlessodji, the CEO of Infinity Star hotel he explained “my outfit decided to host this contest because i want to see boxing grow in the region and also produce a world champion”.
The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Pius Enam Hadzide, the Ketu North DCE, Hon Anthony Avorgbedor and the Chiefs of Dzodze and Penyi, among other dignitaries are expected to grace the program.
