Prophet Dr. Kelvin Bakah who has lived most of his life in some part of Africa and currently owned a church was worried about the level of development back home.
The man of God based in Durban, South Africa is ready to give back to his home region, Volta and Ghana as whole the blessings he has acquired over the past years.
As part of his philanthropic activities, he expressed his joy when he met some Ghana Wheelchair Basketball Federation representatives.
He request, the Ghanaian envoy to make available to him the necessary equipment costs needed to start a chalk factory in Ghana.
“It’s my hope and prayer we open a chalk factory in some parts of the country including Volta Region in order to alleviate poverty on persons living with disability since they are going to work there” he expressed.
Prophet Kelvin has subsequently been awarded with a Doctorate in theology from the Elohim University of Theology, Florida USA.
Not only is it my wish to set up chalk factory for the disabled but to also bring a branch of my church to Ghana so my people will gain salvation from God”.
According to Doctor, when Persons with disability are given the needed support in terms of skill training, it goes a long way to rake off the burden on Government and society and they equally contribute to economic growth.
Through interaction, he was with the opinion that government should rather pay monthly allowance to people living with disability instead of the current bureaucratic way of asking them to apply.
Prophet Kelvin leads over five thousand members in his church, Whitehouse Ministries International in Durban South Africa alone and still counting.
“As part of my schedule, I will be in Ghana to carry out some surveillance and visit some disability facilities to see how best we can collaborate to improve their life’s”.
