The plight of six-year-old Emefa Goka, in klikor, a village in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region is worsening by day as her family struggles to raise a whooping amount needed for her surgery.
The family has therefore, appealed to individuals, philanthropists, financial institutions and benevolent organizations to help Little Emefa undergo hole-in-heart surgery Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), and Double Chambered Right Ventricle which will cost $8,000.00.
Little Emefa’s family who are not stable financially, made the appeal to the public on the airwaves of Fafaa 100.3 FM. In an interview with Dravie Raymond Romeo, the host of AGOO Intervention Morning Show, the parents of Emefa disclosed how they’ve been trying their best to raise the money but to no avail as they have virtually borne all their resources to the situation at hand.
Donations towards little Emefa’s surgery can be directed to the National Cardiothoracic Centre at Accra or call 0242313766 or visit the Fafaa FM premises at Dzodze Adagbledu for the donations.
