AFIFE ARS AND TSIYINU UNITED BOMBERS QUALIFIED TO THE KNOCKOUT STAGE OF DUAMENEFA REGIONAL TOURNAMENT

The workers of Fafaa Fm and external organisers of Duamenefa Regional Tournament were welcome to Afife R.C park by the lovely people of Afife traditional council during the matches played over the weekend.

The crowd alone at Afife R.C football park tells you how they saw the tournament’s authenticity as spectators danced and sang during all the six matches played.

Tsiyinu United Bombers, Afife ARS, Afornyagah Strongs Fc and Agordekey Iron Breakers made up the group in Zone G, Group A at Afife.

The Chiefs, Queen mothers, and the citizens of Afife have witnessed a massive display of football with a lot of talent during the six matches played on Sunday.

Afife ARS football club grabbed the opportunity for the day and topped the group with seven points, eight goals scored and  conceded a lone goal at the end of the three matches played.

After dramatic display of football against Agordekey Iron Breakers, it ended with four goals to nil.

ARS also defeated Afornyagah Fc by three goals to nil and drew their first match with Tsiyinu United bombers.

Tsiyinu United Bombers never underrated any team in their group as they played.

The Bombers have been able to win two matches against Agordekey Iron Breakers and Afornyagah Strongs Fc and drew one with the leading team of the table.

The Bombers ranked 2nd in their group after three matches played with seven points, three goals and a lone goal conceded.

Afornyagah Strongs Fc and Agordekey Iron Breakers shared one point each after the  match played. Four and five negative goals incurred respectively after the three matches played in Zone G, Group A.

Now, Kopeyia United Fc will be locking horns with Tsiyinu United Bombers (WINNER ZCGA VS RUNNER UP ZGGA) while Afife ARS Fc will also encounter the White Stars Football Academy (WINNER ZGGA VS RUNNER UP ZCGA) at Abor on Saturday, 7th September, 2019.
